Stonebwoy, M.anifest and Angelique Kidjo amongst others to perform on MTV Base’s “Africa Day Concert” Stage

M.anifest and Stonebwoy will be representing Ghana as they join a host of African superstars on the line up of MTV Base Africa’s “Africa Day Concert”

Idris Elba, ViacomCBS Network Africa and YouTube have teamed up to raise funds from a virtual concert from which proceeds will be channeled into assisting families who are in dire need in this era of COVID–19 Pandemic.

“Africa Day Benefit Concert At Home” is staged for Monday, May 25, 2020 with almost all A-classed artists on the continent featured.
Viewers can look forward to seeing superstars Burna Boy, Sho Madjozi, AKA, Diamond Platnumz, Sauti Sol, Yemi Alade, Fally Ipupa, Stonebwoy, Teni, Angelique Kidjo, M.anifest and many more.

The 2–hour long event will be broadcasted and streamed across the world for millions of viewers; MTV channels and on the MTV Base Africa YouTube channel.

Idris Elba says, “Taking a moment to shine a light on African arts to benefit the African homeland and its people. A continent of this size should find a way to dig deep and stand up for one another at a time like this. It’s important for the future and history will not forget.
